A driver who plummeted off steep cliffs after crashing through walls and fences has been seriously injured, police have said.
The man was witnessed driving erratically on the Great Orme, Llandudno, Conwy county, which has vertical cliff drops of up to 207m (679 ft).
North Wales Police said it received multiple calls about the manner in which the silver Nissan Qashqai was driving before crashing at Marine Drive, with photos showing the vehicle flipped on its roof.
The man has been receiving treatment in hospital following the crash on Saturday morning.
Police say witnesses reported the vehicle “driving erratically” around the top of the Great Orme.
They described how it drove into “surrounding farmland where it had collided with fences and walls”.
It is appealing for witnesses with any video footage.

The beauty spot is popular with walkers and sightseers due to its high vantage point over the north Wales coast
Where is Great Orme?
Image source, Getty ImagesThe Great Orme is a limestone headland on the north coast of Wales, rising up to 207m (679 feet) above sea level.
It features sheer cliffs that drop dramatically straight into the Irish Sea.
It is a tourist attraction, with a Victorian tramway, a cableway, walking routes and a mining museum.
Llandudno’s Marine Drive, the site of the crash, is a five-mile toll road looping around the base of the Great Orme.
While primarily a tourist route, it is famous for hosting competitive speed tests during major motorsport events like the Cambrian Rally and the Tour Britannia Rally.
