Malik Willis had a huge role in the Dolphins’ win as he completed 14 of 21 passes for 208 yards in addition to two touchdowns. This win gave fans some hope that the NFL’s youngest team can still turn its season around.
While talking to CBS Sports reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala in a postgame interview, Willis said:
“I’m super grateful right now. Just the resilience of this team and the guys in that locker room — I can’t say it enough how proud I am of those guys and grateful for this opportunity to just fight through adversity and continue to push forward.
“I continue to stay rooted in my faith. I mean, Jesus had it way harder than I do. I come out here and play this game for fun, and I obviously try to do my best and enjoy it, but we’ve got to just fight for each other. It could change at the drop of a hat.”
Carson Beck’s sister Kylie jotted down an emotional message about being a part of the Dolphins’ Crucial Catch game
The Miami Dolphins had their Crucial Catch game on Oct. 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and Kylie Beck was a part of it. A day before the game, the Dolphins cheerleader shared an emotional note with her fans via an Instagram post. In the message, she expressed her gratitude for being able to serve a greater cause.
“Tomorrow will be my first ever Crucial Catch game I get to be a part of! I’m incredibly appreciative to be a part of a team that enables us to have an influence both on and off the field! This game means more, and our purpose is to spread love, kindness, and awareness!” she wrote.
“This Sunday, I dance for my grandma and grandpa, who God now watches over, who both passed from cancer, as well as the fighters, survivors, & those who have battled.”
Beck recently celebrated her 22nd birthday and channeled her inner Taylor Swift fan while showing off her style in a bubblegum pink skirt.
