Josh Allen has helped the Buffalo Bills to a 6-1 record after passing for 1,773 yards, 11 touchdown passes and nine rushing touchdowns in seven games. Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams has helped the Bears to a 6-2 start and was one of the standout performers against the Seattle Seahawks on Monday.
NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky put Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams in the same category as Allen this week.
Thanks for the submission!
“Right now. Right now,” Orlovsky wrote on X. “Think the only QB that is scarier for defenders to play against other than Caleb Williams is Josh Allen. Williams is that good right now.”

NFL fans reacted to Orlovsky’s comments about Williams being on par with the Bills quarterback.
“Dan, you literally said Joe Burrow was 1:1 in a post, not a few hours earlier,” wrote a fan.
“Did Joe Burrow die?” wrote another fan.
“King of the hot take,” wrote another fan.
“Two days ago you said he was third in his own division. Apologize,” wrote a fan.
“You are so confusing,” wrote a fan.
“Oh..Just right now huh? Just in this moment Dan? Give me a break and get off my lawn,” wrote a fan.
Williams has completed 70.9% of his passes for 1,267 yards, six touchdowns and one interception in five games, a 104.6 passer rating, despite missing three games with a hamstring injury.
He has thrown for 860 yards in three games since returning, the best three-game stretch of his career. Josh Allen is still ahead on yards per attempt, 8.7 to 8.0. Williams holds the edge in completion rate, 70.9% to 65.9%.
Colin Cowherd makes a case for Caleb Williams as the best QB in the NFL
NFL analyst Colin Cowherd has made a case for Caleb Williams being one of the best quarterbacks this season since Labor Day weekend. On FS1’s “The Herd,” he framed it as an accounting question as much as a football one.
“Are we sure he’s not as good as Josh Allen?” Cowherd said. “He’s now more accurate. He’s faster. He doesn’t turn the ball over like Josh. And he’s much cheaper.”
