Wales are set to give a new cap to Exeter Chiefs backrower
Kane James is in line to win his first cap for Wales, with the former England U20s backrower expected to be named on the bench against Argentina.
The Haverfordwest-born No 8 was almost lost to Welsh rugby given he represented England U20s after joining the Exeter Chiefs academy.
But he has decided to throw his lot in with Wales at senior international level and is now on the verge of making his debut against the Pumas in Santa Fe.

James is an explosive ball carrier and a high-impact player who should bring a load of energy from the bench later in the game.
The 21-year-old has impressed for Exeter Chiefs in the Gallagher Prem and is a player Wales have high hopes for moving forward.
Steve Tandy is also mulling over whether to start Sam Costelow ahead of Dan Edwards while Scarlets wing Ellis Mee is also in contention for a place in the starting XV.
Tandy’s side arrive in Argentina full of confidence after getting their Nations Championship campaign off to a flying start with a 39-24 victory over Fiji at Cardiff City Stadium.
On the flip side, Argentina suffered a disappointing 47-38 home defeat to Scotland last Saturday but will be boosted by the return of a number of key personnel.
Tandy is likely to retain the majority of the squad that toppled Fiji but could be tempted to parachute Sam Costelow into the starting XV.
Costelow was outstanding in Wales’ narrow defeat to Scotland during the Six Nations before injuring his shoulder and impressed as a second-half replacement against Fiji.
Tandy has to decide whether to stick with Dan Edwards or go with Costelow, while backrower James Botham is also knocking on the door after an impressive cameo appearance last Saturday.
