Awake and Sing, Ye Sleepers in the Dust in Genshin Impact is a quest in The Crystal City in the Gorge’s Depths series. During the quest, you’ll head to the Kresnik Kristall Mines with Koshkin and rescue all the trapped miners. Completing the quest will give you 40 Primogems and some materials.

How to complete the Awake and Sing, Ye Sleepers in the Dust quest in Genshin Impact

Go to the mines in Novokitezhgrad

Awake and Sing, Ye Sleepers in the Dust quest automatically begins after you complete the Citadel of the Ancient Fae quest in Genshin Impact. Once you’ve done that, head to the mines and talk to Koshkin. This will also unlock the pickaxe construct.

Venture deeper into the mines

Use the pickaxe to destroy the rocks and rescue all the trapped miners. Keep going deeper into the mining area until you find a blocked entrance.

Obtain the backup power module

Climb the iron structure across the control console and destroy the rocks. Next, jump through the gap to find the backup energy module and install it into the control console.

Click the blue icons above the cubes to excavate them and clear the entrance.

Next, click on the hand icon to enter the paving mode and place both cubes on the platform.

Head to the main mining area and defeat the enemies

Continue on the path until you find a few more miners and save them from the enemies.

Rescue the trapped miners

Save the miners at Mine No. 1

Excavate the cube and cuboid structures and enter the paving mode.
Place the cube first, and the cuboid above it.

Click on the white circles and trace along the white lines to cut the crystal.

Place the cube above the already placed cube.
Position the cuboid next to the cube.
Place the triangle-shaped structures above the cube and cuboid on each side.

Premature Burial

Go east of the waypoint in the mine to trigger a sub-quest called Premature Burial. Speak with the fae miner and destroy all the rock piles to rescue some trapped miners. Once that is done, three more locations will appear on the map that will take you to the remaining trapped miners. You can rescue them in any order.

Destroy all the rocks and rescue the miners trapped under them.

Trace along the fissure and cut the crystals.
Place the cubes first and cuboids above them.
Place the last cube on the right side.
Put the remaining triangle-shaped structures on the side and above the cube.

Excavate the structures and enter paving mode.
Place cuboids on the right side and in the middle.
Place the triangle-shaped structures above the cuboids while leaving some space between each of them.

Talk to the miner in front of the giant crystal

Go to the miners near the giant crystal and talk to them. Next, operate the machine and keep swiping left and right continuously to destroy the crystal pillar.

Finally, go inside the tunnel to find Sadunova. This will complete the Awake and Sing, Ye Sleepers in the Dust quest in Genshin Impact. As a reward, you’ll get:

40 Primogems
33,500 Mora
4 Hero’s Wit
5 Mystic Enhancement Ore
