The second round of matches in the new Nations Championship kicks off this weekend

We are into the second round of the Nations Championship after a thrilling opening weekend of action.

Last week saw New Zealand and France kick us off with a classic, with the All Blacks edging the contest 34-32 at the One New Zealand Stadium in Christchurch.

Japan saw off Italy 27-10 in the second match of the day before Australia and Ireland played out another cracker in Sydney, with the Irish winning 33-31.

Wales then made it back-to-back Test wins with 24-38 victory over the Flying Fijians in Cardiff ahead of world champions South Africa putting England to the sword 45-21.

Argentina and Scotland rounded off the day with a try-fest, with Scotland emerging 38-47 victors.

What channel is the Nations Championship on?

ITV have exclusive rights to every Nations Championship 2026 game.

Matches will either be shown on ITV1 or ITV4 – and on S4C for Welsh games.

All of the matches will be available on the ITVX streaming service, as well as the broadcaster’s terrestrial channels.

ITVX is free to use, but you’ll need to complete a short registration to access the service. You also require a valid TV Licence to stream live TV in the UK.
