Ever since WWE star Dominik Mysterio joined The Judgment Day, he has repeatedly gotten involved in the women’s division, and many times, he has paid dearly for his troubles.
One such incident was recalled recently by Raquel Rodriguez. While Big Mami Cool and “Dirty” Dom are on the same side in The Judgment Day now, that wasn’t the case in 2023.
Thanks for the submission!
In a recent appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet, Rodriguez was asked about The Judgment Day’s legacy and how the group will be remembered. While answering, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion remembered feuding with Rhea Ripley over the Women’s World Championship when Mami was in the heel group, and body-slamming Dominik during her match against Ripley at WWE Payback 2023. Rodriguez mentioned that she did not like “Dirty” Dom back then, but he is now her brother.
“I think they’re going to remember us for all of it. For the good, the bad, the amazing characters, the amazing memories that we’ve been able to have, even just with each iteration of how Judgment Day was, even the great interactions between all of us when we were good guys and bad guys. I don’t know how many times I’ve wrestled Rhea when she was a part of Judgment Day. It’s insane. Even Dominik. I think I body slammed Dominik at one point. There was a moment where I didn’t like him, but now he’s my brother. So that’s what Judgment Day will be remembered for is always having that family tie.” [H/T: Chris Van Vliet]
The Judgment Day certainly has an interesting legacy in WWE. The group has gone through several different iterations since 2022 and continues to be involved in major storylines on RAW.
Dominik Mysterio has had a rough year in WWE
Dominik Mysterio started 2026 as the Intercontinental Champion. He ended last year by winning the title for a second time at Survivor Series, defeating John Cena in the latter’s final in-ring outing on a WWE PLE.
Many believed Mysterio was on his way up the ladder in 2026, but that hasn’t been the case. A recent statistic shows that “Dirty” Dom has lost 80% of his televised matches since his victory over The Franchise Player.
Of his 18 televised bouts, the King of Luchadores has only managed to win 4, losing 14. It remains to be seen how the Judgment Day member bounces back from the rough stretch.
