Josh Hokit has added a rap video to a pre-fight build-up that was already loud enough. The undefeated heavyweight released an NSFW diss track over the weekend aimed at Ciryl Gane, Jon Jones, Tom Aspinall, Alex Pereira and Ilia Topuria, with his title shot twelve days away.
‘The Incredible Hok’ is 10-0 and 4-0 in the UFC, and he challenges Gane for the undisputed heavyweight title in the UFC 334 main event on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden.
Gane seems to be the main target of the rap video and Hokit references the Frenchman’s fouls repeatedly. The video also lands jabs on Jones, Aspinall and Topuria, nods to his 10-0 record and mocks his last opponent, Derrick Lewis.
Hokit also brought up MMA influencer Nina-Marie Daniele in the video, and claimed he is set to become the world champion too.

Josh Hokit could become world champion at UFC 334
Ciryl Gane is the name that matters most. He won the interim heavyweight title by stopping Alex Pereira in round two at the UFC Freedom 250 event, which came as a shock to many.
The Frenchman then inherited the undisputed belt after Tom Aspinall vacated on Sept. 14 to deal with the eye injury from their UFC 321 no contest.
Gane caught Aspinall in both eyes in the opening round in Abu Dhabi last October and the bout was ruled a no contest. Aspinall has not fought since. Hokit has also leaned on the alleged back-of-the-head shots Pereira took in June.
Hokit also took a shot at Gane earlier in the week. The American was training for his fight and had someone put pepper spray in his eyes. Hokit was trying to fight without having any sight, a nod to Gane’s repeated eye pokes from previous fights.
Gane’s coach, Fernand Lopez, isn’t bothered by Hokit’s antics, and had this to say recently:
“The guy is doing his thing,” Lopez said. “He’s selling the fight. I’m not mad about it.”
Gane is 14-2 and the betting favorite and has championship experience, but Hokit is undefeated in his MMA career, and has looked impressive in every fight so far.
The American’s mind games could also play a role as he prepares for the biggest fight of his MMA career.
