Barcelona defender Jules Kounde prefers to stay at the club amid interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.

The Frenchman has been a key player from the right-back position, but his future is uncertain at the moment.

His current deal does not expire until June 2030, but he is no longer an assured starter for the Blaugrana.

Kounde has made just four league appearances this campaign, out of which only two of those have come from the starting XI.

His uncertain situation has grabbed the eye of Chelsea and Arsenal, but Kounde has a firm stance regarding his future.

The 27-year-old does not see his future away from the Catalan giants and he is prepared to fight for his position.

It remains to be seen whether he sticks with the same stance if he continues to be ignored by manager Hansi Flick.

Alejandro Balde made the choice to stay put with Barcelona this summer, but he is already regretting the decision.

Balde has played just 12 minutes of first-team football and he is said to be contemplating a change in the New Year.
