Manchester City could pursue a deal for Chelsea winger Pedro Neto when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year, according to Caught Offside.

The Cityzens signed midfielder Enzo Fernandez from the Blues on deadline day, and the Argentine has already made his debut against Coventry City.

The Mancunian giants also bolstered their wide attacking department with Everton‘s Iliman Ndiaye, but they may look for another solution this winter.

Caught Offside claim that the Cityzens have stayed in contact with Neto’s agents and have also contacted the Blues with international intermediaries.

The Portuguese has been a key player as a wing-back under new Blues manager Xabi Alonso, but there is still a possibility that he could depart.

The west London giants could be prepared to sanction his sale for around Â£69m when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

Neto is not actively looking to leave the Blues but has not ruled out an exit.
