Manchester United have internally discussed the possibility of signing Brentford striker Igor Thiago this summer, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee has been a fringe player over the past two years, and reports claim that Juventus and Como are exploring moves for him.
The Serie A duo are open to signing him on loan with a conditional buy clause and it remains to be seen whether a formal approach is made soon.
If there is an opening for Zirkzee’s exit, United could open talks with the Bees for Thiago, who netted 25 goals in all competitions last campaign.
Thiago is open to pursuing a bigger challenge away from the west London outfit, but the Bees are unlikely to let him go on the cheap, as per reports.
They are expected to demand at least £80m for his services.
