Nikki Bella has been on her own since Brie Bella took time off WWE TV to recover from her injury. She may have found her next tag team partner in WWE in her twin sister’s absence.
In an interview with Justin Dorazio, the Fearless One was asked who she would like to work with before walking away for good.
Thanks for the submission!
Nikki Bella named ex-AEW wrestler Blake Monroe as someone she would love to tag with down the road.
She said the two of them have discussed working together, and their shared heel status is exactly what makes it appealing:
“Blake Monroe. I mean, there’s so much there for Blake and I, but we’re both heels. So like, we’ve always talked like we need to be a tag team right now. It’d be so fun.”
The timing fits her situation. Brie Bella has been out of action since SummerSlam 2026 with a broken scapula, and the sisters have not teamed since. Nikki has continued to work as a heel on SmackDown, most recently against Paige. Meanwhile, Blake Monroe just finished her feud with Giulia and has set her sights on the gold.
Now that the Anti-Diva has shifted her focus to The Glamour, it will be interesting to see if Nikki will insert herself into the storyline since she and Paige are tied 1-1 in singles competition.
Nikki Bella failed to become WWE Women’s Champion on SmackDown
During the October 30 episode of SmackDown, Nikki Bella challenged Chelsea Green for the WWE Women’s Championship.
She came close to fulfilling her prophecy, but not close enough. The match ended with the Canadian star rolling one-half of the Bella Twins up to sneak a victory, a finish that protected Nikki Bella but left her without the belt.
Chelsea Green will now head to Crown Jewel on November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she will lock horns with Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
As for The Fearless One, there’s no word yet on what the Triple H-led creative has planned for her.
