Olympique Marseille vs Toulouse Prediction and Betting Tips | November 1st 2026

Olympique Marseille will be aiming to make it four wins from four in the French Ligue 1 when they take on Toulouse at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday. The visitors also head into the weekend in fine form and will look to extend their unbeaten league streak to six matches.

Olympique Marseille were on the winning end of a seven-game thriller against Le Havre last Sunday as they secured a 4-3 victory when the two sides squared off at the Stade Velodrome.

Thanks for the submission!

Having lost four Ligue 1 games on the bounce between August 30 and September 20, Bruno Genesio’s side have bounced back with three consecutive victories in October, a run which has seen them rise into ninth place in the league table, level on 12 points with 10th-placed Lorient.

While Olympique Marseille have upped the ante back home, their league resurgence has not translated seamlessly into Europe, with Les Phocéens losing each of their three Europa League matches, suffering defeats against Besiktas, Olympiacos, and Sturm Graz.

Despite seeing most of the ball possession and dictating proceedings, Toulouse were guilty of a lack of sting in attack last weekend when they played out a goalless draw with Troyes on home turf.

However, with that result, Jens Askou’s men have gone five consecutive league matches without defeat, picking up two wins and three draws since a 1-0 defeat against Lille on September 3.

Off the back of a 10th-placed finish last season, Toulouse have picked up 10 points from their eight Ligue 1 matches so far to sit 11th in the league standings, level on points with 12th-placed Auxerre.

Olympique Marseille vs Toulouse Head-To-Head and Key Numbers

  • Toulouse have picked up seven wins in that time, while the spoils have been shared on 20 occasions.
  • Marseille are unbeaten in their last 12 Ligue 1 home games against Toulouse, picking up seven wins and five draws since a 1-0 defeat in March 2012.
  • Toulouse are on a run of five consecutive away matches without defeat in the league, picking up two wins and three draws since a 3-2 defeat against RC Lens on April 17.

Olympique Marseille vs Toulouse Prediction

Olympique Marseille have turned their fortunes around in recent weeks, but they will need to be at their best against a dogged Toulouse side who are unbeaten in their last five league games.

However, we predict Genesio’s men will make the most of their home advantage to secure maximum points this weekend.

Prediction: Olympique Marseille 2-1 Toulouse
