Before adding any new talent to their playing roster, however, the organization has added a fresh face to the management side of things, hiring former San Diego Padres COO Caroline Perry.

“It is a tremendous honor” – Caroline Perry speaks after joining the LA Dodgers organization
Soon after trading San Diego for LA, Caroline Perry spoke to representatives of MLB.com, expressing her excitement for what lay ahead.
“It is a tremendous honor to join the Dodgers,” said Perry. “On the field, they have set an unparalleled standard of excellence in baseball under the current leadership. Off the field, their historic legacy, passionate fan base and service to the community speak for themselves.”
“While I am incredibly grateful for my time with the Padres and for the colleagues who made those years so meaningful, I am excited to take my place with the Dodgers and to contribute to their continued success. Thank you to the entire Dodger family for welcoming me.”
Before moving to LA, Perry spent 16 years with the Padres. She is one of only three female COOs in MLB.
