A.J. Brown is hurt yet again, and that has set fans’ worry bells ringing.
On Thursday, the New England Patriots wide receiver was reported to have missed that day’s practice because of a knee injury. He had also been on yesterday’s injury report because of an issue with his ankle.
Thanks for the submission!

“Patriots got sold a lemon,” one rued.
“Dude is made of glass… won’t be drafting again,” another vowed.
“This trade is working out great,” another joked.
“His knee ain’t the issue; having no hands is,” one posited.
“That trade is looking sweeter and sweeter for Philly,” another salivated.
“Dude just collecting a check now. He mentally checked out last season,” another insisted.
This is not Brown’s first time being on the injury report since joining the Patriots. He sprained his ankle during the season-opening loss against the Seattle Seahawks and was subsequently put on injured reserve, keeping him out of action until the middle of this month.
In three games played so far, he has just nine receptions for 101 yards and no touchdowns.
Patriots coaches get candid about A.J. Brown after WR encounters multiple injury issues
Despite the potential gravity of A.J. Brown’s injuries, his coaches are confident that he can overcome them to play against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
During Thursday’s media availability, offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels shared some insights into the wideout’s recovery process:
“I think there’s things that we can work on to do better. And certainly his health is going to be a big part of that. So, when they tell us he can do A, B, and C, we’ll do A, B, and C. And if there’s some element of thing we need to wait on, then we’ll do it.”
Meanwhile, wide receivers coach Todd Downing said:
“I think there’s been a lot made about a couple of weeks. My hope, and his hope, and everybody’s hope, is that he gets a little bit of traction. I’m not worried about where A.J. is at all. Certainly haven’t had the results that we had hoped for, but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t right around the corner.”
Kickoff for the Patriots-Dolphins game is at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS.
