The “Next Randy Orton” Opens Up on Bullying From WWE Fans

A WWE NXT star who resembles Randy Orton has opened up about the online criticism he has faced from wrestling fans. Speaking with KRON 4, he discussed channeling his real-life experiences with bullies who targeted him for his hearing aids and speech impediment into his new on-screen persona.

The star in question here is Myles Borne, known as the “Next Randy Orton,” who recalled suppressing aggressive thoughts for years after being raised to defend himself rather than starting conflicts. Borne expressed frustration even with WWE fans who initially supported him because he was “the deaf guy,” only to turn around and criticize his speech on social media.

Thanks for the submission!

“My whole life I’ve dealt with bullies and people who just always wanted to look at the fact that I had hearing aids and I had a speech impediment … There are so many people who have other disabilities, hearing impairment, whatever disability you want to call it, who feel the same way. The one thing we hate more than anything is people who pander to us and feel sorry for us. That’s not what you do. Don’t feel sorry. Why do you feel sorry for me? Because you think I can’t do what you do? Well, guess what? I’m the one in the ring, and everyone else that felt sorry for me is watching me on TV from home,” Myles Borne said.

The “Baby Viper” emphasized that individuals living with disabilities despise being pitied or pandered to by others. The former NXT North American Champion had an unapologetic attitude that is reflected in the way he no longer seeks public approval and uses the WWE platform to challenge stereotypes.

Randy Orton is heading to Saudi Arabia for a Last Man Standing match

Moving from the “Next Randy Orton” to the real Randy Orton, the latter in WWE is looking forward to ending his feud with Cody Rhodes. The first match in their rivalry this year was the WrestleMania 42 Night 1 main event, where Orton lost.

Then at Sunday Night’s Main Event, Randy won, making the score 1-1. Now, a Last Man Standing match at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will mark their blowoff trilogy match.
