It was officially announced earlier today that the 2027 WWE Royal Rumble would take place on February 6th live from State Farm in Glendale, Arizona. Rumors had circulated about this location and date, but WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H has now confirmed it.
The Game shared the post on his Instagram account, making this the second Royal Rumble in two years that will take place in February, after 2025 was on February 1st.
Thanks for the submission!

There was speculation that WWE was hoping to push The Royal Rumble into February to avoid any conflicts with other sports, but it comes as a shock that they have chosen the 6th weekend.
This means that WWE has all of January to push the John Cena Classic, if it’s expected to start on December 19th. The 17-time Champion will be on RAW tonight and is expected to make a huge announcement, which is expected to be about the upcoming Classic.
The annual Royal Rumble in 2027 will kick off the Road to WrestleMania 43
The Royal Rumble will kick-start what is expected to be a lengthy road to WrestleMania, which will culminate in the biggest event of the year in Saudi Arabia.
Given the controversy ahead of Crown Jewel, which takes place this weekend, it is expected to be an interesting time for the company. It’s a shock that the Royal Rumble announcement has come so late, since it’s now only three months away. Tickets will go on sale in just over two weeks’ time, now that the announcement has been made official.
As expected, the Royal Rumble is wide open again this year, but there are several heavy favorites in the form of Oba Femi and Bron Breakker. Bronson Reed is also a dark horse given his form since returning to the company following his injury earlier this year.
WWE will obviously have some huge plans for the show and it will be interesting to see which male and female win and earn the right to compete for the World Championship of their choice at WrestleMania 43 in April.
