Wakefield pay ‘substantial’ fee for Hull FC’s Litten

Hull FC centre Davy Litten will join fellow Super League club Wakefield Trinity at the end of the 2026 season.

The 23-year-old has agreed a four-year contract with Wakefield, who are currently third in the Super League table.

In their statement, external confirming Litten’s exit, Hull said they had accepted a “significant six-figure transfer fee from the West Yorkshire side following a transfer request from the player”.

Wakefield said the transfer fee was “substantial” but the figure is undisclosed.

Litten told Wakefield’s club website:, external “I’m grateful to be signing for such a great club, the opportunity is something which really excites me and I can’t wait to get started in 2027.

“As a player you can see where the club is going on and off the field and it really impresses me. I can’t wait for the next four years.”
