A very good morning to you. It doesn’t seem too long ago the Six Nations was still in full flow but today the focus already shifts to the summer as Steve Tandy names his Wales squad for the inaugural Nations Championship.
We’re expecting quite a large squad given Wales play a warm-up game against the Barbarians ahead of the tournament matches. That fixture is outside of the international window so English-based players are unlikely to be available.
The bulk of the Six Nations squad are expected to be named today but there should be some new faces too, with Exeter Chiefs’ Kane James among them providing he is close to returning from an ankle injury.
