The five men arrested on suspicion of terror offences near RAF Fairford on Sunday have been released on bail, according to the head of UK counter terrorism policing.
The men, UK nationals in their 20s, were arrested under the Explosives Act and on suspicion of preparing a terrorist act.
Speaking to the press on Monday, Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor said the investigation was not over as police are considering numerous angles, including if proxies working on behalf of a foreign state could have been involved.
