World Cup fans react to Balogun’s one-game ban suspension

Folarin Balogun, the 25-year-old USA star striker, was shown a straight red card for a foul on Bosnia-Herzegovina defender Tarik Muharemovic last week. But after a call with US President Donald Trump, Fifa said the automatic one-match ban would be suspended for a year.

The BBC asked World Cup fans in Washington DC what they make of the president’s call and Fifa’s decision.
