#5. Chad Gable defends his title against Ethan Page
Chad Gable is currently embroiled in a heated feud with Ethan Page on Monday Night Raw. All Ego has launched several attacks on the champion over the past few weeks, both verbally and physically. However, things will boil over tonight as the two men will go to war. Gable and Page are set to lock horns in a huge match for the Intercontinental Championship.
It is expected to be an exciting match with both superstars showcasing their in-ring abilities and wrestling styles. However, a title change seems unlikely tonight as Chad Gable has a lot to do as the Intercontinental Champion. This match could have a controversial finish, which would pave the way for the continuation of this feud. It will be interesting to see how things transpire tonight.
#4. A new faction to rise on RAW?
Monday Night Raw currently boasts a vivid roster with a wide range of tag teams and factions. It appears WWE is planning the formation of yet another alliance. The upcoming episode of the red brand could see the rise of a new faction consisting of Ethan Page, Big Cass and Rusev. Recent reports and media outlets have reported that the company is planning to put the three stars together.
While fans may not get to see the official formation of the faction this week, WWE could however lay the groundwork for it tonight. Following the Intercontinental Championship match between Chad Gable and Ethan Page, Big Cass could work alongside All Ego and ambush the champ. The two superstars have been working together lately on Monday Night Raw.
#3. John Cena makes a blockbuster return
The biggest highlight of this week’s Monday Night Raw is John Cena’s much-awaited return to WWE. The Cenation Leader will grace the red brand with his presence tonight for the first time since his retirement. The atmosphere has been electric ever since WWE made this blockbuster announcement. And tonight the crown in Barclays Center could go bonkers.
John Cena is set to make a huge announcement tonight and rumors have been swirling that it could be about the John Cena Classic. At Backlash earlier this year, he first announced the creation of the John Cena Classic, a unique event designed to pit main-roster stars against NXT talent. It looks like Cena will give an official update on that, revealing its date and details.
#2. Solo Sikoa battles Royce Keys in a high-voltage clash
The Bloodline has been entangled in a heated feud with 946 for the past two months on RAW. Tonight, Solo Sikoa takes on the leader of the group as he is set to go to war against Royce Keys. The two superstars could deliver a brutal fight, looking to tear each other apart. However, this match could descend into a maelstorm of chaos with the four men of 946 taking on Sikoa and The Usos.
Just when the numbers game would start to favor 946, fans could witness a blockbuster return. Jacob Fatu could make his highly anticipated comeback tonight in Brooklyn to destroy Royce Keys and his crew. The Samoan Werewolf has been off TV ever since 946 attacked and sidelined him. Tonight, the desire for revenge could prompt Fatu to return and unleash havoc on Keys’ faction.
#1. Roman Reigns addresses Sami Zayn
Roman Reigns is set to face Sami Zayn in a champion vs. champion match at Crown Jewel this weekend. The two superstars share a history that dates back to their days within The Bloodline. Reigns and Zayn will be under the same roof tonight and things may get really interesting. The two superstars could get involved in a heated exchange of words.
