It has been seven months since Mac Jones and his ex-girlfriend, Sophie Scott, broke up after dating for almost eight years. The San Francisco 49ers quarterback has maintained silence on his dating life post-breakup until recently, when he offered a glimpse of his preferences for potential partners.
On George Kittle and his wife Claire’s “The Kittle Things” podcast on Wednesday, the couple dug into the quarterback’s dating preferences by asking multiple questions. When the 49ers tight end asked about the quarterback’s “biggest green flags” that he looks for in someone, he said:
Thanks for the submission!
“I am attracted to smart, smart ladies.”

It was followed by a question from Claire Kittle, who asked:

“Do you have any immediate dating deal breakers?”
“Just don’t go to a seafood spot with me,” Jones quickly replied.
When the tight end joked that Jones is “allergic to everything,” Jones instantly took a stand for himself and said:
“I’m not allergic to anything, I just don’t like it.”
Jones has been a “ladies’ man,” according to Kyle Juszczyk. And since his breakup, the quarterback’s popularity has grown among single ladies. On the “Big Day” podcast last week, the 49ers fullback revealed that he has received dozens of DMs (direct messages) from single women requesting him to be their wingman and connect with Jones:
“I get so many DMs from girls asking to be hooked up with Mac. Usually, I’ve had multiple be like, ‘Think about it, Kristin and I could be good friends; we could be couple friends. Them and Mac, me and Kristin. It’s unbelievable, the lengths these women have gone to get in touch with him.”

49ers GM John Lynch offered clarity on Mac Jones’ trade possibility
With Brock Purdy playing at an impressive MVP level this season, there haven’t been many opportunities for Mac Jones to show his skills and talent on the field. In fact, with the Nov. 10 trade deadline approaching, there has been major speculation around a Jones trade. 49ers general manager John Lynch offered fans clarity on the possible trade rumors.
“I think back to (former 49ers coach) Bill Walsh; maybe he was on to something when he had Joe Montana, but he also brought Steve Young in here. It’s a good position to be in, a position of strength, and it provides opportunities in a number of ways,” he said on the “Murph & Markus” podcast.
“The most important way being that you’re well insulated in the event something ever were to happen. And then there also are opportunities where you receive calls, and then you make decisions accordingly. But we love our situation at quarterback.”
Last season, Jones started eight games for the 49ers and completed 69.6 percent of his passes for a total of 2,151 yards, 13 touchdowns and six interceptions.
