WWE’s last stop before Crown Jewel had lots of ups and downs. Monday Night RAW pulled out all the stops for the upcoming premium live event in Saudi Arabia.
The creative also planted seeds for some of the storylines heading into Survivor Series: WarGames 2026. Bayley got attacked by Jade Cargill and her crew, leaving fans wondering whether a Women’s WarGames match is in the works.
Thanks for the submission!
With that said, let’s take a look at five things WWE subtly told us during the go-home episode of RAW before Crown Jewel.
1. Sami Zayn likely to lose at WWE Crown Jewel 2026
Roman Reigns opened the show and got interrupted by the Undisputed WWE Champion, who lit into The Tribal Chief for overlooking him ahead of their highly anticipated match.
The two men took a trip down memory lane, reminding each other of their WrestleMania opponents. While The OTC mocked the Last Real Good Guy for being Johnny Knoxville’s little b****, Sami Zayn fired back by saying nobody remembers the never-ending rivalry between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
The closing moments of the show seem to have spoiled the result of their upcoming match.
Sami Zayn took out a worn-out Roman Reigns with a Helluva Kick, while 946 had just laid waste to the Bloodline. The Last Real Good Guy got what he wanted: the OTC’s undivided attention.
Wrestlers who stand tall on the go-home show usually lose at the premium live event. Now unless 946 interferes, Roman Reigns is expected to beat Sami Zayn for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship on November 7, 2026.
2. WWE is high on Ethan Page
Ethan Page knocked Chad Gable off his perch to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career.
The opener was the best match on the card. All Ego launched Chad Gable into an exposed turnbuckle and hit the Ego Plex to win his first main roster gold, ending Gable’s first reign at 92 days.
Putting a singles belt on Page is the kind of vote of confidence a company only makes when it plans to build around somebody.
3. Is Liv Morgan going to lose at WWE Crown Jewel 2026?
The Judgment Day won the six-woman tag, with Liv Morgan securing a pinfall victory over Chelsea Green with Oblivion.
Pinning your pay-per-view opponent in a throwaway tag days before the show is one of wrestling’s oldest curses, and it may have all but confirmed that Chelsea Green will leave Riyadh with the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
4. Randy Orton foreshadowing Last Man Standing Match outcome
John Cena returned to announce the details of John Cena Classic for December 14 and named Cody Rhodes its first invitee. As the two men embraced each other, The Viper’s music hit, and Orton took The American Nightmare apart without laying a finger on him.
He noted that Rhodes has zero experience in a Last Man Standing match, listed Cena, Brock Lesnar and Batista as men who are gone while he is still standing, and brought up the 2007 Great American Bash Bullrope match that ended Dusty Rhodes’ career.
Then he called himself the Rhodes Killer and promised to retire Cody this weekend.
Orton walked off before Rhodes said a word, and the camera caught Cody absorbing it. Rhodes had said earlier on SmackDown that “the last man standing will be the only one punting. That’s me.”
Letting the heel win the go-home promo and downplaying his opponent is completely how WWE builds the man who loses.
5. Jacob Fatu and Naomi nearing their WWE return
Solo Sikoa’s main event with Royce Keys ended in a disqualification and turned into the usual brawl after 946 intervened.
During the post-match shenanigans, a masked man threw a chair at the OTC before unmasking himself as Cruz Montana from NXT. That makes six for 946: Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, Jaida Parker and Cruz Montana.
The Bloodline only has four, with Jacob Fatu expected to fill the fifth spot at WarGames on November 28. The Samoan Werewolf has not been on television since September 28, when Jaida Parker ran him over with her car in the parking lot.
Naomi’s name has been brought up internally, and the timing of her return couldn’t be any better, with The Bloodline set to face 946 in a traditional WarGames Match at Survivor Series: 2026. Naomi could return to exact revenge on behalf of her husband, Jimmy Uso, after Jaida Parker handcuffed him during the brawl tonight.
