GB dressage team qualify for LA28 Olympics

The Great Britain dressage team secured qualification for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles by winning silver at the FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany.

Fiona Bigwood, Charlotte Fry, Carl Hester and Becky Moody finished on a score of 231.4 in the dressage team final, with home nation Germany taking gold on 235.0.

Bigwood, aboard Donna Bella, and Moody, on Jagerbomb, had put GB into second spot on Tuesday.

Hester, on Fame, and defending individual and freestyle world champion Fry, who rode Glamourdale and top scored for the team with 80.311, went on Wednesday and secured second spot.

The top six teams from the event qualified for LA28; Denmark finished third, Belgium were fourth, the Netherlands in fifth and Sweden sixth.
