Also close to New York City, this two-bedroom is just outside of Promised Land State Park, a 3,000-acre park filled with forested hiking trails, waterfalls, and lakes stocked for fishing. Be sure to plan a few days of just relaxing at the A-frame cabin, though, where there’s a record collection worth exploring and a stash of board games to make your way through during your stay. There’s a small, functional kitchen inside, plus multiple living areas—both inside and outside—and a designated desk for remote workers.
