Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta looks poised to drop two attacking players when the Gunners take on Sunderland in the Premier League on the road on Saturday evening.

The Gunners continued their fine start to the campaign with a 1-0 win over Napoli in the Champions League last night. Arteta made a couple of changes in the attack, with Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres coming into the XI.

Eze started from the left wing ahead of Christos Tzolis. While he was solid with his distribution, the Englishman struggled to get himself into good scoring positions, barring one header into the path of Mikel Merino.

Tzolis came off the bench to replace him and made an immediate impact with the assist for Martin Odegaard‘s winner. The Greek has been the league regular and should return to the XI against Sunderland on the road.

Meanwhile, Gyokeres barely impressed as the main striker with just five passes and nine touches. He looked short in confidence and Arteta has an easy choice to replace him with Kai Havertz upfront on Saturday.
