Arsenal are prepared to pursue a new left winger when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.

The Gunners recruited Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge to bolster the left wing this summer, and he has proved a fantastic acquisition thus far.

The Greek has registered four assists from five appearances and has already become a favourite among the fanbase with his consistent displays.

Despite this, the club are still in the transfer market for another left-sided winger, having sold both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli.

Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Junior were among the high-profile options Arsenal were keen to land, but they couldn’t sign either player.

Arsenal were offered the chance to match Liverpool‘s huge bid for Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola, but they opted against doing so.

They are still determined to bring in another competitor for Tzolis on the left wing. Eberechi Eze has operated as a makeshift option in the role whenever Tzolis has been benched this campaign.
