Why we love it: Covered terrace, kayak, paddleboard, sunset views
It’s hard to compete with the color of Chalk Sound, and at Bashert Cottage, that electric blue water is on display from nearly every angle. Inside, vaulted ceilings and exposed beams give the open living area an airy feel, while a wall of glass doors opens directly onto the terrace, pulling the view inside. Instead of a pool, the cottage has something a little more unusual: its own small stretch of sand on the sound, complete with loungers, plus a kayak and paddleboard for exploring the water. When you do leave, two of Providenciales’s loveliest beaches are close by: sheltered Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay, known for their clear, shallow water and long, gentle wade into the sea.
