Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update ahead of the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich on the road tomorrow.

The Gunners have won three straight games since the international break. They have not been entirely convincing in the Premier League, but have still got the job done with victories.

Ahead of the Bayern game, Arteta was asked to provide team news. In response, he said that Piero Hincapie is not far off and could make the matchday squad to face Everton.

The Gunners host the Toffees in the Premier League on Saturday. Hincapie, who has been sidelined with a minor ankle issue, was spotted training individually at London Colney.

The Ecuadorian did not travel with the team to Munich, but stands a chance of making the squad against the Toffees if he passes a fitness test in the lead-up to the weekend’s match.

Arsenal have lost just one game at Brighton & Hove Albion this term, but they are bound to face a stern challenge against Bayern tomorrow.
