Maxxine Dupri is an on-screen relationship with one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions, Austin Theory. However, in real life, she is married to NXT Superstar Kam Hendrix. Tonight, Hendrix delivered an enraged promo to express frustration over his booking.
Kam Hendrix caught fans’ attention during his heated rivalry with Mason Rook in WWE NXT. He became popular due to his over-the-top social media activity and arrogant on-screen gimmick. The black-and-silver brand is set to host Halloween Havoc 2026 on Saturday, October 31. Unfortunately for Showtime, he is not part of the event’s match card.

Before the confirmation between Myles Borne and Tavion Heights, WWE aired a vignette featuring Kam Hendrix. In the video package, Hendrix was seen playing basketball. Showtime delivered a fiery rant talking about being excluded from Halloween Havoc. He also accused the company of snubbing in favor of Ek Prosper in the upcoming NXT North American Championship match.
“Yo, this is what I was talking about. Halloween Havoc is this Saturday, and Kam Hendrix is on the sideline? How the hell is Ek Prosper in the North American [Championship] match? He is not the best all-around athlete in NXT, I am. Watch this [performs tricks with a basketball]. That’s what I do. I am the future. Lights, Kam, Action,” Hendrix said.
Hendrix concluded the promo by claiming that he was the best athlete on the NXT roster and the future of the sports entertainment industry. It will be interesting to see what’s next for Dupri’s real-life husband.
