Binance, the world’s biggest crypto exchange, has been hit by a $6.3bn (£4.7bn) hack.

Half of the assets have been frozen but many remain in the hands of the hackers, the cryptocurrency giant said.

Two analytics firms have attributed the incident to a North Korean hacking unit, though no one has claimed responsibility. Binance did not directly respond to questions about the incident’s potential links to North Korea.

BBC business reporter Archana Shukla explains what we know so far about this hack.
