Five teenagers have been seriously injured after being stabbed at a Halloween party, police have said.
Officers were called to Park Road in Chandler’s Ford, near Eastleigh, shortly after 22:30 GMT on Saturday.
The injured teens – three boys aged 16 and two aged 17 – were taken to hospital.
Hampshire Police said it believes an unknown group gained entry to a party at an address on Park Road before the stabbings.
The force has appealed for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
A police cordon remained in place on Sunday while officers continue their investigation.
Senior investigating officer Det Ch Insp Elizabeth Pirie acknowledged the impact on local residents and thanked the community for its patience.
Earlier, an eyewitness told the BBC ambulances and an air ambulance had attended.
Another eyewitness said they saw someone running out of the house involved, shouting that he had been stabbed and that he was being chased by two people.

In a post on X on Sunday, Eastleigh MP Liz Jarvis said: “My thoughts are with the victims and their families and all those affected by the incident in Chandler’s Ford last night, and my thanks go to our local police and emergency services for their prompt response.
“It’s important not to speculate or share unverified information.”
