Honkai Nexus Anima, an upcoming creature-catching game, from HoYoverse is getting its final closed beta test. The pre-registrations are open for those willing to step into the role of Animaster to explore the distinctive gameplay, vibrant open-world, and of course the Animas themselves. The test servers will go live on November 25, 2026, across PC, Android, and iOS platforms.
The recent tweet from HoYoverse further confirms that Honkai Nexus Anima is set to launch globally in spring 2027.

Recruitments for the final closed beta of Honkai Nexus Anima (HNA) are open as of November 5, 2026. A select few testers will get access to an early preview of this creature-catching adventure RPG ahead of its spring 2027 release.
How to register for HNA closed beta
The sign-up process is fairly straightforward and can be accessed from the game’s official webpage. To avoid confusion, players can refer to the following steps:
- Use any browser and head to the official HNA webpage.
- Find and click on Join the Test. The icon is located in the bottom-right corner.
- Log in to your HoYoverse account from the pop-up window. Be sure to create an ID if you are new.
- Enter your email address and click on the Get button to generate a verification code.
- Copy and paste the code into the empty dialog box.
- Click on Submit Information and complete the follow-up questionnaire to become eligible.
Now, wait for the results. Selected players will be notified, though it may take HoYoverse a few days to pick the eligible candidates.
Honkai Nexus Anima features a diverse open world comprising high-rise office buildings, breezy lighthouse islands, and Animas (the collectable creatures). During the final closed beta, players will step into the role of an Animaster and continue a brand-new adventure from the town of Iia. They will explore every corner of the landscape, capture different Animas, and build habitats for them.
The creatures can be further used in battles. Players can put together any lineup they like, get matched against opponents, and push for higher ranks. They will come across rivals through story progression and various challenge stages during open-world exploration, offering plenty of ways to use their Animas.
In short, HNA’s closed beta test will showcase the core gameplay elements, story, and unique world interactions ahead of the spring 2027 release.
