AEW star Claudio Castagnoli was recently seen performing a new task outside of All Elite Wrestling. The Death Rider has been one of the biggest powerhouses in the Jacksonville-based promotion. He, Jon Moxley, Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia have been dominating the Jacksonville-based promotion for the past two years.
Currently, the Death Riders have a huge task at hand: taking out the Cut. The latter team has been after Jon Moxley and his group for the past few weeks. The Swiss Superman has tried to take them out one by one multiple times. However, he has failed due to the numbers game. Currently, they have asked Conglomeration to help them, as the Riders will take on the Cut at Full Gear in an Anarchy in the Arena match.
Amidst the chaos, Claudio Castagnoli has decided to try a new thing. He was recently part of the 2026 League of Nations World Championship, where he announced himself and the participants of the upcoming game.
Claudio Castagnoli talks about his AEW run
While speaking on 107.7 The Bone, Claudio Castagnoli claimed AEW is doing a fantastic job in building characters. However, one should just be patient and see where the road leads.
“I feel like wrestling always goes in ebbs and flows. AEW has been on a huge upswing and I am confident that we can actually hold that momentum and just make it a permanent climb. AEW is just playing — we’re playing to our strengths and there’s a lot of patience in what we do. There’s things that take a while to develop. But while something develops, something else is hot or paying off. I feel that and there’s always such a variety of different styles and characteristics or whatever you want in AEW. There’s always something that you can find that corresponds with whatever your preference in wrestling or in life is. As you see, there’s certain characters that may not be on TV every week, but you get so excited when they’re back.,” he said.
It will be interesting to see what is next for the Swiss Superman.
