Arsenal quoted price to sign German striker

Arsenal will reportedly need to pay around £42 million to land Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi this winter.

The Gunners were heavily linked with the German last summer, but did not make a formal approach for his services.

This has not ended the speculation and reports claim that the club are weighing up a possible winter proposal for the marksman.

The club have been impressed by how Tresoldi has fared this campaign.

The 22-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Belgian giants and has already netted 12 goals for the club thus far.

Brugge would ideally prefer to keep their prized asset until the end of the campaign, but could sell for the right price.

A £42m package could tempt them to part ways with the highly-rated striker. Arsenal are said to be leading contenders.

It remains to be seen whether the Gunners translate their interest into an official transfer bid at the beginning of next year.
