Breiden Fehoko sees Jonathan Taylor as a potential missing piece for the Cincinnati Bengals’ Super Bowl push. The former NFL defensive tackle urged the Bengals to trade for the Indianapolis Colts star running back before the deadline.
“Every contender is gearing up to make a run. There’s nobody I want to see more on the @Bengals than Jonathan Taylor,” Fehoko wrote on Thursday.
Thanks for the submission!
“That would be the biggest needle mover this century. Peep what I just texted you @JoeyB. GO GET JONATHAN TAYLOR.”

Breiden Fehoko might be eager to see Taylor in Cincinnati colors, but it won’t be so easy. The Pro Bowler told reporters on Thursday that he hasn’t requested a trade from the Colts.
So, while the Colts have traded away Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner, the team remains tight-lipped on Jonathan Taylor. His age, skill set and loyalty might make him an ideal part of a long-awaited rebuild.
Furthermore, Taylor’s two-year, $44,000,000 contract runs through 2028. Balancing the books could be hard because of the big contracts of Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins.
Joe Burrow and Bengals are 4-2 entering Week 8
The Joe Burrow-led Cincinnati Bengals have built a reputation for their slow starts in the regular season. This season has been different.
The Bengals are 4-2 entering Week 8 thanks to wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens. They lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars in Weeks 3 and 4, respectively.
The Cincinnati Bengals enter each season with Super Bowl expectations. They have a stacked offense, serviceable defense and a competent special teams unit.
Next up for Joe Burrow and Co. is a Week 8 game against the Tennessee Titans. It remains to be seen whether they make a trade offer for a certain All-Pro running back playing his football in Indianapolis before Sunday.
