Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE future has been up in the air since Adam Pearce pulled her from RAW last night. An update on her in-ring status has emerged, and it doesn’t look like she’s coming back anytime soon.
Stephanie Vaquer was scheduled to face Becky Lynch in the No. 1 Contender’s Match for the Women’s World Championship on RAW. This would have been her first match back since losing her title at Money in the Bank.
Thanks for the submission!
La Primera twisted her ankle during the match and has been out of action ever since. Prior to RAW, WWE’s X handle posted a video of Stephanie Vaquer dropping her crutches and announcing her return to the flagship show.
However, things didn’t go as planned. Adam Pearce was forced to cancel the match because of her medical unavailability.
Earlier today, PWInsider cited an illness-related issue as the reason behind the Chilean wrestler’s sudden absence.
False Finish has now learned that Stephanie Vaquer will be out of action “indefinitely.”
What happened in Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE RAW absence?
WWE pivoted away from original plans and booked Liv Morgan to defend her Women’s World Championship against Becky Lynch.
This bout had serious Crown Jewel implications. During the main event, The Man came close to knocking The Miracle Kid off her perch, but the Judgment Day saved the day for her and caused a disqualification finish.
In the aftermath, Tiffany Stratton tried to cash in her Money in the Bank contract, but failed after Dominik Mysterio dragged Liv Morgan out of the ring and helped her escape.
With Stephanie Vaquer set to spend a lengthy spell on the sidelines and Becky Lynch out of the title picture, it will be interesting to see who will step up to Liv Morgan after Crown Jewel 2026.
Will The Buff Barbie continue her hunt for the Women’s World Championship on RAW? Only time will tell.
