When a WWE star is usually released, the company updates the situation and their status, moving them from the active wrestlers list to the Alumni section. However, for one star who was released recently, that is not the case and he has been completely deleted from the site altogether.
WWE has released and completely deleted a star from the website
Thanks for the submission!
Yesterday, a fan posted the fact that Keanu Carver was still listed on the company roster, but that changed. Carver was released as per reports after accusations came against him when an unnamed female WWE star made the accusation that he was stalking her. While the name was made public, the accuser has chosen to remain anonymous, so she will remain unnamed. Carver’s texts were made public, showing the situation and how he had allegedly stalked the star.
Now, WWE.com has removed him completely from the site. Whereas before, he was part of the active wrestlers on the site, that is no longer the case. He has been removed from the current stars section of the page. However, where stars who have been released usually appear on the site, in the Alumni section, that’s not the case with Carver either. He has not been added to that section either, removing him from the site completely and deleting him from the records.
While in the past, others have been deleted from the site completely, such as Chris Benoit, and for a time Hulk Hogan after a controversial video of him surfaced, that is not the case yet for Keanu Carver. Whereas Chris Benoit’s name is not visible at all on YouTube on the company’s official channel, those changes have not been made for Carver.
At this time, it’s unclear how far the company will go with deleting Carver from their site, as the allegations against him are just allegations for now.
