Steph Curry‘s wife, Ayesha Curry, released her latest movie, “Second Chance Holiday,” on The Roku Channel on Thursday. It’s a holiday romantic comedy, with Ayesha as one of the leads.
She stars as Chelsea, a professional dating expert who has had a string of bad luck. Alongside Ayesha is Matthew Daddario, who plays the high school crush and former flame. In the movie, they share an on-screen kiss, which the wife of the Golden State Warriors star was trolled over online.
Thanks for the submission!

Ayesha defended the kiss on X.
“It’s not even real 🤣 you guys are annoying,” she commented.
Following the online response, Curry made a classy comment about the movie on Instagram.
“Chelsea Banks is good with me!!! Love you and proud of you @ayeshacurry,” the Warriors star commented.

Ayesha has been acting professionally since the late 2000s; her first acting gig came when she was three. Being on screen has always been her dream. Over the past few years, she has been more active in acting. She was in the 2024 film “Irish Wish,” starring Lindsay Lohan.
Last year, she played a minor role in “Joy to the World.” She also voiced Carol, the Whiskers Diner manager, in the animated film “GOAT,” which Steph Curry produced.
Steph Curry’s Wife, Ayesha, Shares How Special “Second Chance Holiday” Is For Her
The new Roku movie is special for Ayesha Curry, who shared with The Hollywood Reporter in June about her excitement for the project.
“Gosh, honestly, it’s such a big moment for me, personally. It’s a rom-com, so of course it’s silly and playful. That’s fine. But for me, it was my first No. 1 on the call sheet for a movie,” she said. “Stephen was like, ‘You go and do it. I got this.’ I actually got to see a bunch of footage yesterday, and it made me think, ‘Wow, I did it.’ It’s my ultimate dream. I love acting so much, whether it’s in the theater or on film.”
“But now I have the bug. I’m like, ‘What are we going to do next?’ Ryan Murphy, I’m here. Do you need me?”
However, Ayesha is not the only one who has experienced acting. Steph Curry starred in Peacock’s “Mr. Throwback,” which ran for only six episodes. Fortunately for the Warriors star, he has had better luck working behind the camera.
