NBA fans went wild online after Memphis Grizzlies big man Isaiah Stewart admitted that he didn’t regret fighting LeBron James.
Things changed in 2021 when Stewart was unintentionally elbowed in the face by James, who was then a member of the LA Lakers. The defensive big man was with the Detroit Pistons at the time, and he reacted by charging at the four-time champion. Players, coaches, and arena security had to restrain Stewart.
Thanks for the submission!
In an interview with Andscape’s Marc J. Spears, Stewart said that he doesn’t regret fighting James.

“I don’t have regrets,” Stewart said. “I feel like there are lessons for everything. Even going back to that first incident. I don’t have regrets. I don’t care what people may perceive me as. I come to play basketball, and I play the game a certain way, and there have been times when I thought back and said, ‘Hey, I shouldn’t have done that.'”
After what Stewart said, fans shared their reactions online.
“LeBron better run when they meet again,” a fan said.
“Need that Draymond matchup,” another fan commented.
“At least he doesn’t chase clicks or clout or try to get in altercations when it comes to LeBron, unlike Brooks,” one fan said.
More fans reacted to Stewart having no regrets about his fight with LeBron James.
“It’s the most irrelevant people seeking attention from Bron,” someone commented.
“Bro, you’re not a good enough player for people trying to get you ejected on purpose,” a comment read.
“Joins a long line of clowns trying to go at LeBron who were below-average players,” one fan commented.
After their fight at Little Caesars Arena, Stewart was suspended for two games, while James was suspended for one game.
LeBron James Comments on His Experience Being Chased By Isaiah Stewart
Isaiah Stewart did not want to be held back when he went after LeBron James. Even James’ former Lakers teammates, Carmelo Anthony and Russell Westbrook, had to step up and protect him.
Over the summer, the four-time MVP shared what he experienced during Stewart’s rampage.
“He’s chasing the s**t out of me, and I’m like, get this big motherf**ker up off me,” James said. “That’s a big boy. Aye, ya’ll better make sure he don’t get me.”
After the incident, Stewart accused James of intentionally elbowing his face. However, the NBA star clarified what happened.
“I saw his comments today, and he felt it was intentional or wasn’t an accident, going [on the] record again saying it was,” James said. “The actual chop down was on purpose to get his arm off of me. That part was on purpose, but the point of my hand hitting his face was not on purpose.”
LeBron James denied being a dirty player, and he doubled down on not intentionally hurting others.
