Danhausen recently mistook a young star for a forgotten faction that featured 2 current AEW stars. The Very Evil, Very Nice star was the host for this year’s NXT Halloween Havoc. At the event, he ran into Tristan Angels who was dressed in white with two fake fangs in his mouth which made him look like a member of the Brood.
The Brood is one of the most forgotten WWE factions of all-time but is still legendary despite being together for only 8 months. The group was led by retired star Gangrel with Edge (aka Adam Copeland) and Christian as his stablemates. The members of the group used to dress in white shirts and deliver blood baths to their opponents. The group was active for less than a year during the Attitude Era. The group has historically gotten overshadowed by Edge & Christian’s success as singles performers and a tag team. The duo is currently in AEW and just lost the World Tag Team titles a month ago.
Thanks for the submission!
At NXT Halloween Havoc, Tristan Angels also wore a white shirt which made him look like a member of the Brood. Tristan’s long blonde hair also makes him look like the younger version of Christian Cage. While it wasn’t clearly stated, this could’ve been a direct tribute to the group.
However, Danhausen didn’t think too much about it and mistook Angels for the Brood. He even posted a picture with him on X, claiming that he was a member of the group featuring the former AEW World Tag Team Champions.
“Met THE BROOD yesterday 🩸,” he wrote.
It is always hilarious to see the Vampire make this kind of a mistake.
Mark Henry pitched Danhausen to be Finn Balor’s manager
Apart from last weekend’s NXT Halloween Havoc, the Very Evil, Very Nice star also hosted a special edition of SmackDown. The episode featured two World title matches alongside the return of Finn Balor’s Demon King Alter Ego. The former AEW star even posted pictures with Balor on his social media accounts. On the recent episode of Busted Open After Dark, Mark Henry pitched the Vampire to be the mouthpiece for Demon King Balor like Paul Heyman used to be for Brock Lesnar.
“If Danhausen is going to be a part of this, then Danhausen can be the Paul Heyman for The Demon. The Demon will appear. The Demon doesn’t have to cut promos. ‘Listen, Danhausen, please, when are we going to be able to speak to The Demon?’ ‘The Demon doesn’t want to talk to you. The Demon talks to me, and then I tell you what The Demon says,'” he said.
It would be hilarious to see this duo together on WWE programming.
