The possibility of Maxx Crosby leaving the Las Vegas Raiders has resurfaced ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline, months after his proposed offseason move to the Baltimore Ravens collapsed because of concerns over his medical examination.
Although Crosby has shown no indication that he wants out of Las Vegas, NFL insider Tom Pelissero believes the Raiders could still receive offers that prompt them to consider another blockbuster deal.
Thanks for the submission!
“Maxx Crosby wants to be a Raider. He has no desire to leave, and he is definitely not forcing his way out. But GM John Spytek is sure to get calls over the next 10 days, leaving open the possibility of another blockbuster,” Pelissero posted on X.

The possibility of Crosby being traded again has sparked plenty of discussion among NFL fans on X, with several users sharing their thoughts on the latest development.
“Just like how Jeff Simmons wanted to be a Titan and had no desire to leave…,” one fan wrote.
“DO IT, John Lynch,” one San Francisco 49ers fan said.
“The door is now open to ANOTHER potential Maxx Crosby trade out of Vegas. Spicy,” one fan added.
“A 1000% chance the Bengals will/should be in on this. They expressed interest in him before, and Ja’Marr and Tee both said that’s who they wanted before Dex came into town,” one fan commented.
“Pretty much guarantees a trade,” one said.
“Spytek would be an idiot to trade the best rusher in the NFL,” another added.
According to Pelissero, several playoff hopefuls could still approach the Raiders about a potential Crosby trade. Should Spytek receive an offer comparable to what the Chicago Bears gave the Tennessee Titans to acquire Jeffery Simmons, the possibility of Crosby leaving Las Vegas would become much more realistic.
What the Raiders would need in return to consider trading Maxx Crosby
The Las Vegas Raiders are unlikely to entertain offers for Maxx Crosby unless a team is willing to part with significant draft capital. The Chicago Bears’ recent deal for Jeffery Simmons, which involved two first-round picks and a fourth-rounder going to the Tennessee Titans, could provide a useful benchmark for what it would take to land Crosby.
The Baltimore Ravens previously agreed to surrender two first-round selections to acquire the defensive end in March. As a result, the Raiders could see that package as the starting point for any fresh negotiations.
However, Las Vegas could now demand an even bigger return. Crosby has made it clear that he wants to remain with the Raiders, and trading him against that preference could create an uncomfortable situation for the franchise.
Several contenders have been linked with the pass rusher, including the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Buffalo Bills and San Francisco 49ers. The Cowboys have been particularly persistent in the rumors, with owner Jerry Jones previously hinting that the team could pursue a major trade before the deadline.
