Hua, Deadly Betrothed in Phantom Blade Zero, is one of the optional bosses that you will run into while exploring the Weeping Creek Valley area of the map. This boss is a puppet enemy, meaning that the Bleed-based weapon that you get by defeating Jagged Steel, the Frenzied Brute, will not work against her. Where to find Hua, Deadly Betrothed in Phantom Blade Zero?
Hua, Deadly Betrothed can be found while exploring the Valley Sha-Chi Tower. Once you reach the area, make sure to activate the bell inside the Tower courtyard and then move to the other side. There will be a few puppet enemies inside the tower.
Once you are on the other side, you will be able to spot a hole in the ground. Drop through it till you reach an area with a few enemies fighting. Either defeat them or wait for them to kill each other.
Red Lily Flower: Hua will sometimes release a set of Red Lily Flowers on the field. They slowly drift toward you, and when they collide, they deal massive AoE damage. Avoid this by dodging just before they collide.
White Lily Flower: Hua will release a set of three White Lily Flowers that will track you. You will need to dodge as they are about to hit you to prevent getting stunned, followed up by a massive attack from Hua.
Lily Fields: Avoid the Lily Flower field during the battle. These will attack you if you stay inside them for too long.
Tips and tricks
Bleed weapons do not work on the boss.
Beware of the red flash before an attack, as the boss will stun-lock you, followed by a strike that will take a massive chunk of HP out of you.
The black flash will reduce your Sha-Chi bar. Dodge to avoid.
