GTA 6 is right around the corner and it is difficult to fully understand the weight of that statement. The day is almost here and players are beyond excited for the long-awaited game. Since the GTA franchise has become more than just a game, it is expected to feature several references to real-world celebrities, particularly those associated with Florida’s music and entertainment scene.
Rockstar Games has already showcased several characters inspired by the state’s culture who will be featured in GTA 6 and American rapper Kodak Black appears to be among them. A recently surfaced image, along with an older video featuring the rapper, has seemingly confirmed his presence in the game. Here’s everything you need to know.
Kodak Black seemingly confirmed to appear in GTA 6
Yes, Kodak Black appears to be featured in GTA 6, as an image circulating online shows a character with a striking resemblance to the American rapper. The character shares several physical features with Kodak Black, including his unique hairstyle and facial tattoos.
The image has attracted attention from fans, who believe that the character is based on the Florida-born musician. However, Rockstar Games has yet to officially identify the character or reveal his role in the game.
Interestingly, another video circulating online reportedly shows Kodak Black himself mentioning that he will be in GTA 6. Kodak Black’s potential inclusion would be fitting considering the game’s setting. The rapper grew up in Pompano Beach, Florida, while GTA 6 takes place in Leonida, a fictional state inspired by Florida. Vice City, one of the game’s primary locations, is based on Miami.
What’s interesting is to see how big of a role Kodak Black would have in the game. We can also expect more artists and musicians to be a part of the game. Rockstar Games has previously incorporated real-world musicians into the GTA franchise. GTA Online, for example, featured Dr. Dre in The Contract update, where the rapper played an important role in the storyline.
It remains unclear whether Kodak Black will have a major role in GTA 6 or simply appear as a cameo. Rockstar has not provided any details regarding his character, possible missions, or voice acting involvement.
We will have to wait for a few more days when players get their hands on the game and start exploring Leonida to get the complete picture. Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
