Lecce vs Genoa Prediction and Betting Tips | November 1st 2026

Genoa will look to continue their resurgence in the Italian Serie A when they visit the Stadio Via del Mare to face Lecce on Sunday. The home side, meanwhile, head into the weekend in need of a lift, having managed just three points from their last five matches since September 20.

Lecce were played out of the park by a clinical Frosinone side in midweek as they fell to a 5-1 defeat when the two teams squared off at the Stadio Benito Stirpe on Thursday.

With that, Eusebio Di Francesco’s men have lost four of their last five league matches, with a 3-0 victory over Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium on October 18 being the exception.

This poor run has seen Lecce plunge to 14th in the Serie A standings with nine points from their opening nine games, one point and one spot behind this weekend’s visitors.

Meanwhile, Genoa secured three huge points against Juventus on Wednesday, with Kingsley Ehizibue and Tommaso Baldanzi netting first-half goals to sink the Old Lady at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.

Daniele De Rossi’s men have now won three of their most recent four Serie A matches, seeing off Fiorentina, Venezia and Juventus, having failed to taste victory in the opening five games (1D 4L).

While Genoa will look to keep the juggernaut rolling this weekend, they will need to show their mettle at the Via del Mare, having lost each of their last four away league games since a goalless draw against Fiorentina on May 10.

Lecce vs Genoa Head-To-Head and Key Numbers

  • Genoa hold a clear upper hand in the history of this fixture, having won 10 of the last 18 meetings between the two teams.
  • Lecce have picked up just three wins in that time, while the spoils have been shared on five occasions.
  • Di Francesco’s men are unbeaten in their last five home games against Genoa, picking up two wins and three draws since a 3-1 defeat in December 2010.
  • Genoa are on a run of six consecutive Serie A away matches without a win (2D 4L), including four defeats in their four most recent games.

Lecce vs Genoa Prediction

Genoa have blown hot and cold this season, but a run of three wins from their most recent four matches points to an upward trajectory in recent weeks.

While Lecce have struggled to get going, they will draw encouragement from their recent home record against De Rossi’s men, and we see them holding out for a share of the spoils.

Prediction: Lecce 1-1 Genoa

Lecce vs Genoa Betting Tips

Tip 1: Result – Draw

Tip 2: First to score – Genoa (The hosts have conceded the opening goal in four of their last five matches)

Tip 3: Over 4.5 cards – No (There have also been fewer than five bookings in nine of Lecce’s last 10 matches)
