Queens Park Rangers vs Burnley Prediction and Betting Tips | November 3rd 2026

This post was originally published on this site.

Burnley will be looking to move out of the relegation zone when they visit Loftus Road Stadium to face Queens Park Rangers in round 14 of the EFL Championship on Tuesday. Julien Stephan’s men were on the receiving end of a 5-0 mauling when the two sides last squared off back in April 2025 and will head into the midweek tie looking to get one over the visitors.

Consistency has been hard to come by for Queens Park Rangers in recent weeks, with Stephan’s side suffering a heavy 4-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton at the St. Mary’s Stadium last Saturday.

Thanks for the submission!

QPR have failed to win seven of their last nine league matches, losing three and claiming four draws, with victories coming against Derby County and Swansea City on home turf.

Despite their recent struggles, Queens Park Rangers remain well-placed in mid-table, as they currently sit ninth in the Championship standings with 20 points from 13 matches, and could move level with fifth-placed Southampton with a win on Tuesday.

Having suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, Burnley have struggled to find their feet in the second tier, with the Clarets playing out a goalless draw with Portsmouth at Turf Moor last weekend.

Fabio Celestini’s men have now failed to taste victory in four consecutive games, losing twice and picking up two draws, while managing just one win from their 13 league matches this term.

While individual quality is not in question, a run of just nine points from a possible 39 has Burnley as early candidates for consecutive relegations, as they sit 22nd in the league table, only above Derby County and Preston North End.

Queens Park Rangers vs Burnley Head-To-Head and Key Numbers

  • With 24 wins from the last 45 meetings between the sides, Burnley boast a superior record in the history of this fixture.
  • Queens Park Rangers have picked up 12 wins in that time, while the spoils have been shared on nine occasions.
  • Queens Park Rangers are unbeaten in five of their six Championship home games this season, picking up three wins and two draws so far.
  • Burnley have failed to win 11 of their last 12 competitive away games, losing nine and claiming two draws since February 21.

Queens Park Rangers vs Burnley Prediction

Burnley head into Tuesday’s tie in search of a lift amid a turbulent campaign in the second tier, but they are in for another tough 90 minutes against a QPR side who have lost just one league game at home this season.

Burnley’s form on the road leaves little room for optimism, and we see QPR coming away with all three points, albeit by the odd goal.

Prediction: Queens Park Rangers 2-1 Burnley

Tip 2: Over 2.5 goals – Yes (There have been three or more goals in five of the hosts’ last six matches)
