Real Madrid make new Enzo Fernandez decision

Real Madrid have categorically ruled out a move for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez this summer.

The La Liga giants have been heavily linked with the Argentine in the last few weeks with reports stating that manager Jose Mourinho wants another marquee midfielder in the squad.

Los Blancos have now put that speculation to bed by highlighting that they have no desire to sign Fernandez, and do not have any intention to enter an operation in the coming weeks.

The news is a huge blow for the World Cup winner, who has been pushing for a move to Madrid via his agent. He could yet pursue a new challenge away from the west London giants this summer.

Manchester City and Arsenal are keeping tabs on the talented midfielder too and could compete for his services in the near future.

Chelsea would prefer to keep Fernandez in their squad next term. They will demand £120m to contemplate his departure this summer.
