Royce Keys has NXT in his crosshairs. Ahead of Wednesday’s show, the 946 leader posted a message on X.
The man who answered Keys’ call on the November 2nd edition of RAW in Brooklyn was Cruz Montana, a two-time TNA World Champion under the name Mike Santana. Keys’ main event with Solo Sikoa ended in a disqualification when the rest of 946 ran in, and Roman Reigns and The Usos arrived to even the odds. Montana hit Reigns with a steel chair and Spin the Block, unmasked, and helped Keys to his feet while the faction finished the beatdown.
Thanks for the submission!
However, Montana is not done with NXT yet. General Manager Robert Stone confirmed he will face Dion Lennox in an unsanctioned match this week, with UFC star Michael Chandler as the special guest referee. Montana’s new stablemate and 946 leader, Keys, teased the idea of causing mayhem on NXT.
“#WWENXT. Tomorrow night. Ain’t nobody safe,” wrote Keys.

946 reminds Sam Roberts of The Shield and Nexus
WWE analyst Sam Roberts made a major comparison back in August. Speaking on RAW Recap after the 946 debuted on the red brand, he claimed that the faction felt like The Shield meeting Nexus.
“Out of nowhere, Royce Keys and Out the Mud invade Monday Night Raw to end the show. It was almost like the Shield meets the Nexus in terms of just like utter chaos and the fact that they weren’t necessarily on anybody’s side… Nobody saw it coming… Nowadays, everybody wanna talk like they got something to say, but nothing comes out when they move their lips, just a bunch of gibberish, and what is that? ‘Cause they forgot about Royce Keys. Is what everybody has been saying.”
The Shield came through the crowd with no allegiance, and the Nexus tore through the roster as a pack. Royce Keys’ group has done both, adding members rather than picking sides, and Survivor Series: WarGames in Houston on November 28 looks like the next stop.
