The San Francisco 49ers entered their bye week following a 29-20 Week 7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. While George Kittle will be using the off week to focus on physical recovery and mental relaxation, the tight end’s wife, Claire Kittle, will be busy taking care of one major work call.
Kittle has landed another gig with Sports Illustrated for the magazine’s 2027 swimsuit issue. On Monday, she shared an Instagram reel featuring a video of herself unboxing goodies she received from the franchise to mark her second year with them.
Thanks for the submission!
“Pulling up in Mallorca rn still in disbelief that I’m here and shooting with @si_swimsuit for the 2nd time!” she wrote in the caption.

“You guys, I am in Nashville right now before George’s game in Atlanta. And look at the package that was here when I landed. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. ‘We can’t wait to see you in Spain. Love, your SI swimsuit fam,’” she said in the video.

“So, I did the digital WAG cover. That was my first shoot. And then I walked on the runway with them. And now I’m actually going to be in a real-life magazine, which is unbelievable. I truly can’t even believe it.”
According to Kittle, the photoshoot location was Mallorca, and she planned on taking a plane to Spain after the 49ers game. She would be joined by her fellow swimsuit models, who will be part of the magazine alongside her.
“So, we’re driving from Nashville to Atlanta,” she said. “We’re going to go to George’s game. And then I literally flew out that night to go right to Spain. And I’m meeting the team there. I really can’t believe that this is happening.”
After sharing details of the shoot, Kittle revealed the contents of the parcel she received from Sports Illustrated. The haul included a tank top, a makeup kit, eye patches and other goodies.
Claire Kittle made her debut with the magazine in the February edition of its digital cover.

George Kittle says 49ers’ Week 7 loss to Falcons will dramatically impact the bye week for players
No athlete likes losing, and the 49ers’ first setback of this season on Sunday has also impacted their players, including George Kittle. In a postgame interview, the tight end said that going into the bye week after a loss isn’t a good way of starting his time off from work.
“Losing’s never great, but when you do lose, I think, especially in this organization, it makes everybody just really look at yourself in the mirror,” he said.
“And all I think it’s going to do is spark a bigger fire underneath us. All we want to do is win. It’s going to sour everybody’s week.”
Since his wife, Claire Kittle, will be in Spain shooting for Sports Illustrated magazine, there will be a possibility of him traveling along to enjoy a tropical vacation.
